Driver killed in two-car crash in Middletown

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- A 29-year-old woman was killed Tuesday in a two-car crash, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Amber Geddes was headed east on North University Boulevard shortly before 3 p.m. when she hit Sherryl Darby's car at Richardson Drive, a news release from the OSHP said.

Darby, 26, was making a left from Richardson onto westbound University when Geddes hit the car, the OSHP said.

Geddes was pronounced dead at Atrium Hospital, according to the OSHP. She was not wearing a seat belt.

Darby and two passengers, both minors, suffered minor injuries and were taken to Atrium Hospital for treatment. A third passenger was not hurt.

The crash is under investigation.
