HAMILTON, Ohio -- A man was electrocuted Saturday afternoon on Hamilton's East side, a deputy fire chief said.
The man was operating a portable lift on Pleasant Avenue near Symmes Avenue at about 3 p.m. when he touched some power lines.
Hamilton's electric utility got the power turned off, but the man didn't survive.
A news release from Deputy Fire Chief Lawrence Gassert said the Butler County coroner and Hamilton police are investigating.
