MONROE, Ohio — A five-year-old child hit by a car on Saturday evening in Butler County has died.
WCPO media partner, The Journal News reported the child died Wednesday at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
The child was flown to the hospital Saturday evening after being hit at about 8:20 p.m. Saturday in the 4000 block of Blue Springs Drive in the Monroe Crossing subdivision, according to police.
The Journal News is reporting that a preliminary police investigation indicates a family member hit the child in their driveway.
The incident is still being investigated, according to Monroe Police Chief Bob Buchanan.
