GEORGETOWN, Ohio - A Chatfield College professor is out on bond after being arrested Tuesday on charges of drug possession.

Police arrested Douglas Link of Mount Orab in front of the Mount Orab post office and say they seized three pounds of marijuana, according to Commander John Burke.

The Brown County Drug and Major Crime Task Force then obtained a search warrant and seized additional marijuana from Link's residence along with 24 plants, marijuana cultivation materials, scales and firearms.

Link was arraigned Wednesday in the Brown County Municipal Court and was given a $25,000 bond, which he posted and is currently out of custody.

His next court date is scheduled for 9 a.m. May 5 at the Brown County Municipal Court.

Link is employed as a professor of humanities at Chatfield College, outside of Fayetteville. The investigation is ongoing, with additional criminal charges to be presented to the Brown County Grand Jury at a future date.
