WALTON, Ky. -- One person died and two were injured in a three-vehicle crash Friday night on Dixie Highway, according to deputies with the Boone County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies said a PT Cruiser driving southbound on the highway drifted over the center line, striking a northbound car and rolling off the road down a ravine. A third vehicle struck the second moments later.
Forty-eight-year-old Charles Miles, the driver of the Cruiser, died in the crash, and two people in the second vehicle were taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
