VERONA, Ky. – Preston Art has been banging the drum to make a road near his home safer for motorists.
Art worries that drivers could lose control on twisting Salem Creek Road and go off a steep embankment into the creek below.
Following a WCPO report two weeks ago, Boone County Public Works stuck four caution posts in the ground, but Art says that doesn’t go far enough. He wants them to install a guardrail.
Boone County Public Works says it inspected the road again Friday and it plans to send crews back on Monday to evaluate the next step.
