RABBIT HASH, Ky. — A man has been arrested and indicted on an attempted murder charge after a May shooting in Rabbit Hash that left one man dead and another injured, the Boone County Sheriff's Office announced Wednesday.

A grand jury indicted 19-year-old Dale Good on Tuesday after an investigation revealed Good began shooting Hunter Brock, 24, shortly after Brock and Kenneth Good, 36, got into a physical altercation in the middle of Rabbit Hash Road on May 24.

During the fight, police said Dale Good left his vehicle and shot Brock in the chest. Steven Brock, 60, then returned fire and stuck Dale and Kenneth Good multiple times. Steven Brock later told police his hand was also grazed by a bullet.

Kenneth Good of Hebron was found in his vehicle in an embankment with a gunshot wound to the head. He later died of his injuries at UC Medical Center.

Dale Good and Hunter Brock were also treated at UCMC and were released a short time later.

On Wednesday, Good was arrested in Independence and taken to the Boone County Detention Center, where he is currently being held on a $100,000 bond.

Neither Hunter nor Steven Brock have been charged with any crime at this time.
