VERONA, Ky. — I-71 just south of the I-71/75 split in near Verona is shut down in both directions due to a two-vehicle crash, according to the Boone County Dispatch.
There is no word on the number of people injured at this time, but five medical helicopters were called to the scene.
The interstate will be shut down for an undetermined amount of time.
