FLORENCE, Ky. -- A man is dead after he was struck by a vehicle Monday on Turfway Road in Florence.
Randall Sexton was hit while crossing the street at about 11:45 p.m. in front of a BP gas station.
Sexton was not in a crosswalk during the crash. David Lane, of Florence, was driving his Mitsubishi Eclipse eastbound on Turfway Road when the incident happened, according to a police report.
Emergency crews pronounced Sexton dead at the scene. Police have notified his family members. No criminal charges have been filed against Lane, and the crash is still under investigation.
