Whether you're supporting Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump or a third-party candidate, we'll all be pretty happy when Election Day is finally over.

Celebrate democracy (or drown your sorrows) at these nine parties -- all at local restaurants and bars -- to cap this election season.

Hamilton County GOP Election Night Party:Stumping for Trump or local Republicans? Join Hamilton County Republicans for their watch party at Horse & Barrel Bourbon House with appetizers, a cash bar and local GOP leaders. 7:30-11:30 p.m. Tuesday. 633 Walnut St., Downtown. Free admission; must RSVP to hamiltoncountygop@gmail.com.

Hamilton County Democratic Party’s Election Night Celebration: Are you with her? Local Democratic leaders will host their party at Lachey's in Over-the-Rhine, where massive televisions will show election returns. 7:30 p.m. to midnight Tuesday. 56 E. 12th St., Over-the-Rhine. Free admission.

Election Night Party co-hosted by Hamilton County Libertarian Party: Are you going third party with Gary Johnson? The Hamilton County Libertarian Party will have its watch party at Firehouse Grill in Blue Ash, where you will get heavy appetizers. Proceeds will be split between the HCLP and the Libertarian Party of Ohio. 7 p.m. to midnight Tuesday. 4785 Lake Forest Drive, Blue Ash. $25 adults; $10 children ages 12 and under.

Election Night Watch Party at Northside Tavern: Northside Tavern, along with a number of Northside residents, will host an election night watch party featuring food from local Northside restaurants. There also will be music by DJ Bev Rage and a chance to take part in an interactive Electoral College map. 7 p.m Tuesday. Northside Tavern, 4163 Hamilton Ave. Free admission.

Democracy, Yeah Yeah!: Know Theatre's Underground will host this election night party, featuring “Fringe News" coverage of the election (meaning it'll probably be funny) and a lot of cheap drinks. 7-10:30 p.m. Tuesday. 1120 Jackson St., Over-the-Rhine. $10.

Presidential Election Viewing Party at the Presidents Room: Do you want to keep things presidential? The Presidents Room at the Phoenix is hosting an election viewing party, complete with complimentary appetizers, that promises to have "respectful, open conversation." (We can definitely use more of that.) Drink specials include $5 pours of wine by the glass, $3 MadTree and Rhinegeist cans and drafts and $5 specialty cocktails. 7-11 p.m. Tuesday. 812 Race St., Downtown. Free admission.

Dining for Democracy: The Northern Kentucky chapter of Kentuckians for the Commonwealth, an organization that promotes voting at the state level, is hosting its election watch party at Wunderbar. There will be a $1 discount on Kentucky beer and wine, and 10 percent of bar sales will go to the KFTC organization. Grab a pretzel or some pierogies and settle in for the night of returns. 6-11 p.m. Tuesday. 1132 Lee St., Covington. Free admission.

Taco Tuesday -- Election Day Edition: Cappy's Wine and Spirits in Loveland will host Empanadas Aqui for an election-themed edition of Taco Tuesday. There will be beer and wine specials -- and you can sample some of Woodburn Brewery's beers on tap, too. 5-10 p.m. Tuesday. 309 W. Loveland Ave., Loveland. Free admission.

Sundry and Vice:If you're so completely over election season that you want to pretend it's not happening, go to Sundry and Vice on Tuesday. The Over-the-Rhine cocktail bar will host its "Enough Already" event, where it will debut its new highball menu and new seasonal drinks -- and have absolutely zero election coverage. Starts at 4 p.m. Tuesday. 18 W. 13th St., Over-the-Rhine. Free admission.
