See which local hoops coaches earn state kudos

The Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association will recognize multiple area basketball coaches during the state tournaments in Columbus this month. 

These coaches have reached or eclipsed certain milestone wins in their respective careers.

Area winners include Lakota West girls basketball coach Andy Fishman (300 wins), Springboro’s Tom Benjamin (400 wins), Eastern Brown’s Rob Beucler (300 wins), Georgetown boys basketball coach Jerry Underwood (300 wins) and La Salle coach Dan Fleming (400 wins).

Coaches with 300-plus wins will recognized at either the state girls’ basketball finals March 12 or the boys finals March 19 at Ohio State.
