CINCINNATI -- Walnut Hills High School is the best high school in Greater Cincinnati -- according to one education and communities website, anyway.

Niche listed Walnut Hills at the top of the 90-school list of the "best public high schools in Cincinnati Metro" for 2017.

Niche said the list is "based on rigorous analysis of key statistics and millions of reviews...data from the U.S. Department of Education. Ranking factors include state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, and high school ratings."

Specific categories shown in the school's report include academics, culture and diversity, health and safety, surveys from parents and students, teacher grades, resources, facilities, clubs and activities and sports. Walnut Hills scored an A+, A or A- in every category.
