CINCINNATI -- A Moeller High School student was expelled Thursday for making two separate threats -- written on walls of the school -- to "blow up" the school, according to a school spokesperson.

The all-boys parochial high school on Montgomery Road was on a delay Thursday for a K9 and police sweep of the school due to the threats.

The first threat was made Wednesday morning. "I'm going to blow up the school today, April 12th," was written in a school bathroom.

Late Thursday morning, after a second threat, parents and media were told that a student acted alone and made the threats.

The student accused of making the threats is a minor.

Local law enforcement "will be handling legalities of charges moving forward," according to spokeswoman Teresa Meyer.
