CINCINNATI -- University of Cincinnati cornerback Alex Thomas was charged with aggravated robbery Wednesday night and suspended indefinitely from the school’s athletics program.
Court documents indicate Thomas, a 21-year-old junior from Florida, was arrested Wednesday and taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center.
"Alex Thomas has been suspended indefinitely according to Department of Athletics policy," sports information director Ryan Koslen said in a statement. "His status will be addressed following the resolution of the legal process. UC will not comment further on the matter."
Thomas is being held on a $100,000 bond at the Hamilton County Justice Center.
