MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- U.S. Marshals and Butler County authorities arrested the suspect in a Georgia homicide in Middletown Tuesday.
Lavante Gray, 24, is accused of fatally shooting James Jones in Stone Mountain, Georgia, on Sept. 1, U.S. Marshals announced Wednesday.
Marshals learned that Gray was in Middletown and found him there with help from the Butler County Fugitive Warrant Division. They arrested Gray near the intersection of North Verity Parkway and Carmody Boulevard.
Gray is being held in the Butler County Jail pending extradition back to the Atlanta area.
