CINCINNATI — A woman was shot in the head and a man also was wounded in a "gun battle" on Vine Street in Over-the-Rhine about 10 p.m. Saturday, police said.
Both victims were found in the street in the 1800 block of Vine near Findlay Playground.
Police said paramedics discovered one victim in front of the fire station and they immediately aided that victim.
Police also found multiple shell casings in the street for several blocks, creating a large crime scene.
The victims' injuries are not considered life-threatening, police said. They were transported to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
There was no word on suspect(s) or motive. District 1 investigators are handling the case.
