CINCINNATI - Three people are recovering after an early-morning shooting near the University of Cincinnati.

Police say they have one person in custody after gunfire inside the Overlook at Clifton apartments, 700 Riddle Road.

Micaila Christopher lives just doors down from the apartment where it happened. She's so upset she's thinking about moving.

Christopher says she heard a gunshot about 2 a.m., then a woman's scream, then people running past her apartment.

Then three more gunshots.

She said she hit the floor, afraid bullets may come through her walls.

"It could've went through the wall," she said. "It could've hit my sister. My sister was in the living room. I'm in my back room. So, I'm like, what if my sister got hurt? What if the person you're living next to got hurt?"

One victim was shot in the chest and another was hit in the head. The third victim's wound is unclear. All three were treated and are expected to survive.

Christopher has lived at the Overlook at Clifton for about two years and says this is the first shooting she's heard, she said.
