Three shootings claim three lives in deadly 12 hours in Cincinnati area

CINCINNATI — Three men died in three separate shootings in less than 12 hours in the Cincinnati area between Thursday night and Friday morning.

Cincinnati police are looking for suspects in shootings in Bond Hill and Westwood.

Meanwhile, Norwood police said they made an arrest in a deadly shooting there.

In Bond Hill, officers were called to a home on Joseph Street near Oberlin Avenue around 9:30 a.m. Friday and found 26-year-old Chandler Childress dead.

In Westwood, 26-year-old Damontae Gibson was shot to death around 10 p.m. at an apartment complex on Karla Avenue. He died at UC Medical Center.

Cincinnati police have not released any information about a suspect or motive in either case.

In Norwood, police found 29-year-old Thomas Bibbs Jr., with a gunshot wound at Silver Street and Lawn Avenue on Thursday night. Bibbs also died at the hospital. Police said they arrested 39-year-old Joseph Ralls and charged him with murder.
