WILMINGTON, Ohio — Three people stand charged with murder in connection to the Tuesday night shooting death of 23-year-old Layne Hall on Brownberry Drive, city administrator Marian Miller confirmed Wednesday.

The three suspects — Kevin Noe Jr., 21; Christian Terry, 22; and Corey Ruffner, 22 — will be arraigned Thursday morning in Clinton County. Investigators took a fourth person into custody but filed no charges.

Hall was shot in the parking lot of an apartment building around 8:40 on Tuesday, Miller said. Multiple witnesses saw it happen; tips from others led to the arrests.
