RIPLEY, Ohio -- A Cincinnati man is facing one count of involuntary manslaughter in connection to a woman’s suspected overdose in Brown County.

Ripley police found Aundrea Phillips, 40, deceased from an apparent drug overdose on Sept. 21 at a home on Circle Drive. Their investigation led them to a suspect in Hamilton County, according to a news release.

Search warrants were executed Tuesday at two Cincinnati locations: 825 Blair Ave., and 1917 Acorn Drive. Investigators found suspected heroin/fentanyl valued at about $30,000, according to the Brown County Drug and Major Crime Task Force. They also found marijuana, prescription pills and money.

Authorities arrested 30-year-old London O’neal during the search. He’s being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center and is awaiting extradition to Brown County. In addition to involuntary manslaughter, O’neal is also charged with corrupting another with drugs, trafficking in drugs and possession of drugs.

The Brown County task force was assisted by several Hamilton County agencies, the Cincinnati Police Department, the Springfield Township Police Department and the North College Hill Police Department.
