COVINGTON, Ky. -- A 20-year-old man is charged with second-degree manslaughter in connection with a fatal shooting early Sunday.
Officers were called to West 26th Street near Crisnic Court at about 2 a.m. for a report of a person shot. Zachary Pouncy, 20, was taken to St. Elizabeth Covington with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Dhezon Gray was arrested at the scene, Covington police said. He is being held at the Kenton County Detention Center, with a court hearing scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Monday.
Covington police said they weren't seeking any other suspects.
