CLEARCREEK TOWNSHIP (WARREN COUNTY), Ohio -- Clearcreek Township police are hoping DNA evidence will identify a serial pooper who has been hitting local homes under construction.

Police Chief John Terrill told WCPO news partner the Journal-News that they have evidence at the lab for a DNA profile. They estimate it will be at least a month before they have the information they need to move the case forward.

The unidentified person or people have defecated on the floor of homes under construction at least four times since May 6, the Journal-News reported.

Surveillance video recorded two people illegally entering one home under construction in the Country Brook subdivision just after 8 p.m. on  May 13, the Journal-News reported. Police believe one of them defecated on the floor.

Police asked anyone with information to call them at 937-748-1267.
