Police seize pound of heroin, arrest 2 in 'major' bust

CINCINNATI -- Police recently found a pound of heroin and made "major" arrests in a drug bust.

Cincinnati police executed search warrants in Westwood and Roselawn, and the Warren County Drug Task Force executed one in Mason.

During the searches, investigators seized the pound of heroin, $52,000 cash, four vehicles worth $73,800 and $5,000 in jewelry, according to police.

Police arrested 36-year-old Demarlo Brumfield and 30-year-old Jamar Sims Feb. 15.

Both were charged with drug trafficking and drug possession. They were being held in the Hamilton County Justice Center with bonds set at $600,000.
