Police seek man who broke into Kenton County Clerk's Office, stole items to make IDs

COVINGTON, Ky. — Authorities are looking for a man who stole items used to make IDs and driver's licenses from the clerk’s office, according to the Kenton County Police Department.

The man broke into the Kenton County Clerk’s Office on Jan. 26 and took the items, police said. The clerk’s office is located inside the Kenton County Administration Building on Simon Kenton Way.

The suspect is a white man, about 5’8” to 5’9” with a thin build. He was wearing glasses that possibly have brown rims, police said. He was wearing a dark gray hoodie, a black face mask, blue jeans and black boots. He was carrying a black backpack and a black duffle bag.
