Two deaths in two days at Westwood apartment complex

CINCINNATI — Cincinnati officers spent Friday morning investigating a homicide at Westwood's Renata apartment complex — the second in as many days.

Patricia Woods, 24, was reported unresponsive at 11 a.m. Investigators found her dead of a gunshot wound at the scene.

Less than a full day before, officers had discovered 53-year-old Fred Spivey Jr. shot to death in the same apartment complex. Tommy Green, 44, was arrested Friday morning and charged with murder in connection to Spivey's death.

Police did not draw a connection between the crimes.
