CINCINNATI – A man broke into a home and stole a guitar worth $12,000, guns and other items, according to police.

Scott Arnold, 37, forced his way into a North Bend home Feb. 15, police said in an affidavit. Arnold took several handguns, jewelry and a Gibson guitar valued at $12,000.

The next day, Arnold’s girlfriend sold the guitar to a music store in Kentucky, according to the affidavit.

Detectives were led to Arnold and his home after one of the stolen guns was recovered Feb. 18. Police arrested him the next day.

Police said they found items stolen during the burglary and other evidence in Arnold’s Cincinnati home.

Arnold was charged with burglary and receiving stolen property. His bond was set at a total of $60,000. He was being held in the Hamilton County Justice Center pending a court date Feb. 29.
