CINCINNATI — Police said they caught the man who robbed two United Dairy Farmers stores last week, and they believe he may be responsible for other robberies.

Jamal Jewell, 27, is accused of robbing the Chase Avenue UDF in Northside Wednesday night and the Cleves Warsaw Pike UDF in West Price Hill early Thursday morning.

Jewell made off with a small amount of cash from each robbery, police said. Investigators tracked him down thanks to security footage and tips.

Police arrested Jewell Saturday. He was on parole after being released from Warren Correctional Institution in September for robbery and weapons charges related to a 2013 carjacking.

Detective Joe Coombs said investigators believe they can link Jewell to other robberies.

"He's a dangerous individual we wanted to get off the street," Coombs said. "He was not remorseful. We believe he would have kept doing this without the information we received."

Jewell is currently being held in the Hamilton County Justice Center on an aggravated robbery charge with bond set at $500,000. He's also facing charges of domestic violence and aggravated menacing related to a different incident, according to court records.
