MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Police arrested three people who they said robbed a pharmacy and may be responsible for similar crimes over the past month.

Officers responded to a report of a robbery in progress at the CVS on Breiel Boulevard at 12:21 p.m. They stopped a vehicle nearby and found the perpetrators inside, police said in a news release.

The robber passed a note that was similar to notes used in other recent robberies at the same location March 23 and April 4, and at other CVS pharmacies in the area, police said.

Earlier, police said a note passed in a robbery demanded prescription medications and implied the men had a firearm. Another note contained a similar message.

Savon Davis, 23, Calvin Cavonte Tribble, 19, and a 15-year-old boy, all from Dayton, were all charged with aggravated robbery, attempted robbery and two counts of possession of criminal tools.

The case is still under investigation. Police asked anyone with information to call them at 513-425-7736.
