CINCINNATI — A “person of interest” was arrested after shots were fired at a security guard at a Millvale apartment complex just before 4 a.m. Wednesday.
Police say a SWAT team and K-9 unit tracked the person from the apartment building where the shots were reported fired to The Flats apartment complex about a block away in the 1900 block of Westwood Northern Boulevard. They are not releasing a name as the person arrested is not a suspect, but merely a person of interest.
Police surrounded and blocked off the area for some time, but the road has been reopened. Police remained on scene gathering evidence and talking to residents, but they said there was no immediate threat to this community.
No injuries were reported.
