CINCINNATI -- A man was shot and killed Thursday evening in Avondale, according to Cincinnati police.
Police said someone shot Reco Gunnels, 41, in the 500 block of Ridgeway Avenue at about 8:24 p.m. Thursday.
The Cincinnati Fire Department transported Gunnels to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He died later at the hospital, police said.
Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit is conducting the investigation.
