MOUNT ORAB, Ohio -- A Brown County man faces charges of reckless homicide after his stepgrandson was found unresponsive, according to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office.
Donald Martin Jr., 58, is being held at the Brown County Jail after first responders found his 11-year-old stepgrandson unresponsive Friday at 17296 Minnick Road, police said. The boy had been having a temper tantrum, passed out and was struggling to breathe.
First responders transported the boy to Mount Orab Medical Center where he later died.
It is not clear how exactly Martin was involved in the boy’s death.
Martin was arraigned Saturday at the Brown County Municipal Court.
