CINCINNATI -- A man is dead and at least one other person has been shot in Mt. Airy, according to Cincinnati police.

Police identified the deceased victim as 19-year-old Parrish Perkins. The shooting happened at about 3:15 p.m. Thursday at the 5400 block of Shadymist Lane.

Neudigate said the suspect fled the scene, but there is no immediate danger to the public. A K-9 unit searched for the suspect Thursday evening.

First responders transported the second victim to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center; the second victim is in stable condition, Neudigate said.

Thursday’s shooting is the second to take place on the same street in four months. An April shooting that started as a fight left 23-year-old Tyler Lee dead and Mark Washington, 26, injured.

Court documents said someone shot both the men after they entered a home and threatened to shoot the residents if they didn't get $50 for a television.
