DELHI TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- It must have seemed like a clean getaway.
Police arrested a man Tuesday who they said stole Tide Pods from the Delhi Road Remke two times Monday.
Mark Walker, 34, first stole multiple containers of Tide Pods at about noon, then went back with a woman, Ashley Walker, and they both stole more Tide Pods at about 3 p.m., police said in court records. Police said they took a total of $230 in Tide Pods inside a book bag hidden under a coat.
Tipsters identified the pair, and police found Mark Walker Tuesday. He ran away from the officers despite being told to stop several times, according to court records.
Mark Walker was charged with two counts of theft and one count of obstructing official business. Ashley Walker is wanted on a theft warrant.
