UPDATE: Keiria Trent was found safe, and her father is in custody in Licking County, according to Newark police.
NEWARK, Ohio -- Newark police issued a statewide Amber alert for 1-year-old Keiria Marine Trent, who was abducted from her home by her father, police said.
Police said her father, Matthew Trent, took her from her home in Newark at 5 p.m. Sunday and left in a 2006 black Saturn Ion with red rims and Ohio plate GUF5050.

Keiria Trent is described as a white female about 3 feet tall, 30 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. She is wearing either a blue princess tutu or a strapless pink striped dress. She has a bruise on her right cheek.
Matthew Trent should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.
