NORWOOD, Ohio – The driver accused of hurting a 7-year-old boy in a hit-and-run Sunday afternoon turned himself into police.
The driver turned himself into Norwood police early Monday morning; he is charged with leaving the scene of an auto accident. The driver's identity has not yet been released.
The call went out at 3 p.m. after the boy was hit at 1919 Elm Ave., police said.
The boy suffered abrasions to his head, torso and arms, but nothing life-threatening, police said. He was conscious and talking.
The boy was transported to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
