WALTON, Ky. -- One of the men charged in a fatal shooting in Walton this month has been charged in another incident just down the street, Boone County deputies announced Thursday.

Michael York, 26, was already facing a murder charge in the death of 25-year-old Tyler Ryan. Authorities found Ryan dead of a gunshot wound in a Deer Trace Drive front yard Feb. 11.

Investigators have now also obtained a warrant for York on charges of attempted murder and robbery in connection to a Jan. 28 incident that happened just down the street from the fatal shooting.

Deputies said York and another person were meeting a woman so they could sell her marijuana. Instead, York's accomplice grabbed the cash from the woman while York pointed a gun at her. York fired the gun as she got back in her car and drove away.

York and another man charged in Ryan's death, Gregory Siffel, were arrested by U.S. Marshals in Cincinnati Monday. He had not yet been extradited to Kentucky.
