Smith is accused of shooting Jones on Wednesday evening on North Wayne Avenue near Maple Street.

Authorities arrested Smith early Saturday morning after shots were fired outside of the LivInn Hotel on Chester Road, according to Sharonville police.

Smith had been charged just hours before with the Wednesday night killing of Jones.

Smith fled to Sharonville after the shooting and hid at the hotel, according to Sharonville police.

Police arrived at the LivInn Hotel at about 1:49 a.m. on Saturday and found Smith armed, another man wounded and several vehicles damaged by gunfire.

Smith was arrested without incident and taken to Hamilton County to face his murder charge, according to Sharonville officers.

The other man was hospitalized in stable condition. Sharonville police said he and Smith would likely both face charges.
