MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ohio -- A man who once worked as a Butler County corrections officer was arrested on suspicion of a federal sex abuse charge, according to Montgomery County Jail records.

Kyle Jordan, 31, was arrested Saturday morning at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and released from jail Monday morning, the Journal-News reported.

He worked as a full-time corrections officer for a year before resigning in February 2015, according to the Journal-News.

On the same day he submitted his resignation, Jordan was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and a left-of-center violation, court records show. He pleaded to a lesser charge, according to court records.

No information was immediately available about the accusations leading to Jordan's arrest on the federal sex abuse charge.
