HAMILTON, Ohio -- Police arrested a Butler County murder suspect Wednesday morning in Georgia.
Marquis Hunter, 30, was taken into custody in Atlanta, according to the Hamilton Police Department. U.S. marshals helped Hamilton detectives with the arrest.
Hunter is charged in the death of Jaylen A. Kinney, 24. Kinney died March 23, his birthday. The investigation began when police received calls reporting a shooting on Chestnut Street. Somebody drove Kinney to Fort Hamilton Hospital.
When officers arrived at the hospital, they learned Kinney had died from his injuries.
A Butler County grand jury indicted Hunter on charges of murder and having weapons under disability.
