CINCINNATI — A Hamilton County grand jury indicted a man Wednesday who's accused of starting a fire that killed a Riverside man and injured two others last month.

According to the indictment, 22-year-old Andre Wright sold cocaine and marijuana and started a fire that killed 40-year-old Michael Bowen. Wright is is facing charges of aggravated murder, aggravated arson and various drug trafficking and possession charges.

Fire Chief Greg Potter said at the time that a passerby saw the fire at about 3 a.m. March 27 and called 911. By the time firefighters arrived, the basement and first floor were on fire.

Two other people managed to escape the burning building and were treated at a hospital.

Wright is being held in the Hamilton County Justice Center.

A second person is also charged with drug crimes in connection to the case. Nicole Young, 20, is charged with trafficking and possession of cocaine and marijuana and possession of hashish. She is not charged in the fire or death. Court records indicate she was released on bond.

The Cincinnati Police Department's Homicide Unit is still investigating Bowen's death. They asked anyone with information to call 513-352-3542.
