CINCINNATI -- A driver who crashed Friday night near the University of Cincinnati had been shot, police said.
Edmond McNeal, 57, crashed at about 7:50 p.m. near Clifton Avenue and Martin Luther King Drive. First responders found he'd been shot once they removed him from the vehicle.

He was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The Cincinnati Police Department's Homicide Unit is investigating.
