CINCINNATI -- A Hamilton County judge  sentenced a 39-year-old man to life in prison without the possibility of parole Wednesday for killing his boss last year.

Jurors had convicted Donald Dawson-Durgan of murder, aggravated murder and aggravated robbery Tuesday.

Dawson-Durgan, of Forest Park, was charged with killing Anant Singh on May 4, 2016. Singh's wife found him dead at their Symmes Township home.

Investigators arrested Dawson-Durgan nine days later. He'd acted as property manager for Singh's real estate business, the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office said.

Dawson-Durgan's defense indicated they're likely to appeal Judge Tom Heekin's sentence.
