Delhi police think man lying in road was hit by car

DELHI TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- Police are trying to figure out who hit a 54-year-old pedestrian early Saturday.

The victim was found lying in the middle of the road at Anderson Ferry and Cleander Drive around 6:30 a.m., police said. He appeared to have been hit by a car.

Paramedics took him to University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he was in serious but stable condition.

He lives nearby, and his family has been notified; however, police aren't releasing his name yet.

The victim is white, and he was wearing glasses, a dark blue coat and blue jeans and carrying a black jacket, police said.
