MIDDLETOWN, Ohio — Cruiser camera video from the Ohio State Highway Patrol shows the high-speed chase and violent crash that has a 17-year-old recovering from injuries while awaiting his initial court appearance.
The teen from Sidney, Ohio, was accused of going more than 100 mph on Interstate 75 before crashing into an SUV at Central Avenue and Bellemonte Street.
Both drivers had serious injuries and were admitted to Atrium Medical Center.
A passenger in the SUV was treated and released.
The suspect’s car was reported stolen. Drugs were suspected, the patrol said.
