A credit card or debit card skimmer is a device that records and logs card and bank information from compromised cards. A scammer will place the devices over ATMs or other machines and steal the card information from unsuspecting customers.

According to a Facebook post, the devices were placed over the existing card slots on ATM machines at the stores.

Investigators said they don’t know how long the devices had been in place at the stores of if anyone’s information had been compromised.

Anyone who has used the ATMs at either location recently is urged to watch their accounts and report any fraud immediately.
