MOUNT HEALTHY, OHIO -- Three people reported someone shot them with a BB or pellet gun Monday night.

The shooter was in a white work van, possibly a GMC or Chevrolet, according to a police report. The van's hubcap was missing on the rear passenger side.

One victim told police he'd been walking toward Mt. Healthy Fuel on Hamilton Avenue when he saw the van out of the corner of his eye. It slowed down, and a front-seat passenger pointed a gun at him, he said. The BB or pellet hit him in the back.

Another person, a 14-year-old boy, reported he was shot on West Galbraith Road near Clovernook Avenue, in North College Hill.

A third shooting victim reported the van was last headed north on Winton Road.

None of the victims could give police a detailed description, according to the report.

Several calls to 911 also people reported someone firing a BB gun near Hamilton Avenue and Meredith Drive over the weekend. One man reported he was hit in the arm but didn't need medical attention. A woman said her car was dented.

Two people reported bullets hit their cars on Interstate 74 in Green Township since late last month. Lt. Mitch Hill, of the Green Township Police Department, said at least one of those incidents is not believed to have been a pellet or BB.

Police ask anyone with information about the BB shootings to call the Mount Healthy Police Department at 513-728-3182 or Crime Stoppers at 513-352-3040.
