Sheriff: Deputy working in jail services tests positive for COVID-19

CINCINNATI -- The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office reported a deputy assigned to its Jail Services Division has tested positive for coronavirus/COVID-19.

The sheriff's office says no other employees or inmates are currently displaying virus symptoms.

The deputy is now quarantined at home and is doing well.

"We will continue to work closely with Naphcare, our medical service provider, and the Hamilton County Health Commissioner," read a statement from Sheriff Jim Neil Thursday.
