MOUNT HEALTHY, Ohio — Police say they want prosecutors to bring charges against a bar owner after about 30 people were involved in a fight in the bar parking lot Saturday.
Officers responded to Take A Shot Bar, 1367 Compton Road, and found "numerous violations" of the Responsible RestartOhio plan, including overcrowding and failure of employees to wear masks or gloves, according to a Mount Healthy police Facebook post.
Police broke up the fight with the help of other police agencies, the post said.
An investigation determined the fight had started inside the bar, according to police. Ohio bars closed during the COVID-19 pandemic were allowed to resume indoor service two days earlier, but still had to comply with state safety orders.
Violations were reported to the state and county health departments, police said.
