A new poll conducted by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber revealed that a majority of people in Greater Cincinnati support a toll to help fund the Brent Spence Bridge project.

A toll would help build a companion bridge to the often-congested Brent Spence, which on a good day can seem more like a deleted scene from "Mad Max: Fury Road" than a major interstate corridor.

Federal funding for the bridge is unlikely, and the costs for a new bridge rise each year. However, although the majority support is there, a bevy of Kentucky lawmakers from Gov. Matt Bevin on down are still opposed to any toll.
