Projects bringing 350 new jobs to Tri-State

CINCINNATI -- Five projects expected to bring more than 350 new jobs to the Tri-State were approved Monday by the state Tax Credit Authority, according to REDI Cincinnati.

Projects approved included Blue & Co., LLC, Brothers Trading Co. Inc. dba. Victory Wholesale Group, Macy's Credit and Customer Services, Health Carousel, LLC and PatientPoint.

Blue & Co., an Indiana-based consulting company, will create another 20 regional jobs.

Brothers Trading Co., a wholesale company, will invest $11 million in distribution facilities and inventory.

Macy's Credit and Customer Services are consolidating back-office operations.

Health Carousel, LLC, a workforce solutions company, recruits and employs healthcare professionals and expects to bring 85 new jobs to the region for the $435,000 investment.

PatientPoint, a company that creates digital and interactive content for physicians and patients, will expand across the Tri-State "with specific details of expansion to come at a later date."

REDI, the Regional Economic Development Initiative, said an additional 2,000 jobs will be retained by the companies through these projects, totaling in $11 million in capital investment.
